While our ProMesh Protection Sleeves haven't been independently lab-tested against urushiol, thousands of customers wear them specifically for working around poison ivy, poison oak, and thorny plants. The fabric is designed to act as a physical barrier between your skin and what you're working around.

They're built for everyday garden and field work — pulling weeds, pruning roses, clearing brush, and protecting your arms from the scratches and irritation that come with it. They're not puncture-proof, so very heavy thorny work may still get through — but for typical garden tasks, they hold up well.
